Worcestershire County Council are working in partnership with colleges and training providers across the county to deliver the Multiply project to our residents who are aged 19+ and who do not currently have a GCSE at Grade C (or equivalent).
Multiply is a new government-funded programme to help adults improve their numeracy skills. Through Multiply, we want to boost people’s confidence and ability to use maths and numbers effectively in daily life, at home and work.
Good numeracy skills can unlock job opportunities or prepare you for further study. They also help in everyday life, such as helping children with homework and budgeting money.
Multiply course are free to anyone in Worcestershire aged 19+
Our partners across the county are offering short, free courses to help people navigate the current cost of living climate, courses to help people manage their household budget, courses to enable parents to support their children and understand their maths homework, alongside a variety of online and face to face everyday maths options.
There are courses for beginners to more advanced courses such as GCSE Maths, Functional Skills Qualifications, or equivalent. With such a variety of learning set-ups and content, learners will be able to learn at a pace that suits them.
